Boxers not briefs

An incident occured in Hiemenga Hall last Friday night that has come to Chimes' attention from a source in the faculty, speaking on condition of anonymity. It seems there was a sight that might have caused a fright: four males from the cast of "The Three Penny Opera" were, apparently, getting into the mood of the opera by walking through the corridors with -- uh -- less than their full costumes on.
Whether or not this constitutes a definition of "streaking" will, perhaps, be disputed. Our source told Chimes that he would not give much more than three cents for what was seen.

Calvin students to bring memorials to Colorado

Calvin students from Colorado are organizing a Memorial Drop Off for the Littleton Colorado community. The community can drop off gifts, flowers and notes on Wednesday, May 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at a Ryder truck on campus. The truck will then be driven to Littleton and the gifts dropped off directly at the memorial. Volunteers are needed to help collect gifts on May 5. Call Ernie at 954.4818 for more information.
