-A student reported that in the last few weeks he had been receiving harassing phone calls from a fellow worker at the student's off campus job. The victim was instructed to record the date and time and any future calls and report the calls to Campus Safety.
Tuesday 03/23
-An Oratorio member reported that at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, March 22 as she entered the women's restroom on first floor of the Fine Arts Center, three young males exited the restroom. Campus Safety contacted the maintenance supervisor in the Fine Arts Center who stated that the persons were new maintenance employees that were being trained.
Sunday 03/28
-At 5:47 p.m. Campus Safety found a young subject in a faculty office in Heimenga Hall. The subject was waiting for his father to return to pick him up.
Tuesday 03/30
-At 7:56 p.m. a student reported that sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 29 and 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30 someone damaged the finish and broke a mirror on his vehicle while it was parked in the Kalsbeek/Huizenga parking lot.
-At 9:05 p.m. Campus Safety investigated a two vehicle accident in the Fine Arts Center parking lot. A vehicle pulling into a parking space damaged a vehicle parked in the adjacent parking space.
Wednesday 03/31
-At 1:45 p.m. Campus Safety responded to a request for medical assistance at Johnny's Caf&Mac226;. A worker had fallen and struck her head. The victim was treated at the scene.
Thursday 04/01
-At 9:05 a.m. Campus Safety investigated a report by a Food Service employee of harassing behavior by another worker. The information was turned over to the Food Service Manager for further action.
Saturday 04/03
-At 3:59 a.m. Campus Safety investigated a report of a home invasion in a residence hall. The person had entered an unlocked room and assaulted a resident and then fled. The incident is being investigated by Grand Rapids Police Department.
-At 2:10 p.m. a student reported that at 2:00 a.m. she received an obscene phone call. The information on the call was turned over to the Telecommunications Department for investigation. |

Sunday 04/04
-At 2:23 p.m. Campus Safety four students in the pool in the Physical Education Building. The students were identified and information turned over to the Dean's Office for further action.
Monday 04/05
-At 9:20 a.m. a food service employee reported that sometime over the weekend two windows were broken at the Knollcrest Dining Hall.
-At 1:40 p.m. Campus Safety investigated a two vehicle accident in the west parking lot. A vehicle backing out of a parking space struck a vehicle traveling through the lot.
Tuesday 04/06
-At 11:50 a.m. Campus Safety investigated a two vehicle accident in the south Physical Education parking lot. A vehicle at an intersection failed to yield and struck another vehicle traveling through the lot.
-At 3:44 p.m. Campus Safety responded to a request for medical assistance in the Spoelhof College Center. A student was found dazed and unresponsive. An ambulance was requested and the victim was transported to Spectrum Health East for further treatment.
Wednesday 04/07
-At 12:20 a.m. Campus Safety investigated a two vehicle accident in the Zeta/Lambda parking lot. A vehicle attempting to pull into a parking space struck a parked vehicle in the adjacent parking space causing damage to the parked vehicle.
-At 10:26 a.m. a contractor reported that sometime in the last fifteen minutes a cordless drill and battery were taken from the study room in Alpha Hall. The equipment was located later in the laundry room.
-At 1:55 p.m. a staff member in the Library reported that sometime over the last weekend money was taken from her office.
Friday 04/09
-At 4:45 a.m. Campus Safety received a report of someone dumping chalk on the Commons lawn. The subject placing the chalk was identified and the information turned over to the Dean's Office for further action.
Saturday 04/10
-At 1:18 a.m. Campus Safety investigated a violation of the campus alcohol policy in the residence hall area. The students involved were identified and the information turned over to the Dean's Office for further action. |
