Cross country races toward Nationals

The Calvin cross-country takes the lead at the start of the race and continued throughout the race.

Not even cold, rain, snow, or a muddy course could stop the Calvin cross country teams from winning regionals last Saturday. The wins by both teams qualified them to continue to nationals tomorrow in Boston.

The men’s team went into the race expecting to finish second after Mount Union, formerly ranked 3rd in the nation. But Calvin’s strong showing led them to a first place upset, beating Mount Union by nine points.
