Calvin fails diversity goals
This year the 1985 report on racial issues, including student and faculty diversity, came under review in order to determine its successes and failures. For instance, the goal of 15 percent of the student body and faculty being people of color was not attained, but the number of minority faculty members was increased tenfold from two in 1985 to 23 currently.

Report shows Calvin education in demand
Calvin’s number of undergraduates FTE (Full Time Equivalent) stands at 4,124 this year, which is more than the stated enrollment goal set in the college’s strategic plan, according to Tom Van Eck, Institutional and Enrollment Research director.
