Tuesday 9/18

-At 5:20 a.m. Campus Safety found two vehicles in the East Beltline parking lot with broken windows. The owners of the vehicles were contacted and came to the scene. One owner reported that a CD desk, speakers and golf clubs were taken from his vehicle. The other owner stated that only the faceplate of the in dash stereo was taken from the vehicle.

Thursday 9/20

-At 8:00 a.m. a staff member in the Spoelhof College Center reported finding a threatening message on her voice mail. The message implied a threat against the college that would take place at a later time. The information on the call was turned over to the Grand Rapids Police Department for further investigation.

-At 9:15 a.m. Campus safety found a vehicle in the Kalsbeek-Huizinga parking lot with a smashed window and a door ajar. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and came to the scene. The vehicle owner stated that he had last been at the vehicle on the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 18, and that at that time there was no damage to the vehicle. The owner stated that his CD player and wallet had been removed from the vehicle.

-At 6:00 p.m. a student reported that he had parked his vehicle in the Kalsbeek-Huizinga parking lot and when he returned to the vehicle he found the driver's side window of his vehicle broken. The student stated that 30 CDs were missing from the vehicle and that an attempt had been made to remove the stereo.

Sunday 9/23

-At 10:30 a.m. a student reported that at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, he had parked his vehicle in the East Beltline parking lot. The student stated that when he returned to his vehicle on today's date he found his stereo and CDs missing.

-At 1:00 p.m. a student reported that at 12:00a.m. on today's date she parked her vehicle in the East Beltline parking lot. The student stated that she returned to the vehicle at 10:00 a.m. and found the FM/CD stereo missing from her vehicle.

-At 10:30 p.m. Campus Safety investigated a two vehicle accident in the parking lot near Kappa Hall. A vehicle backing out of a parking space struck an illegally parked vehicle causing damage to the parked vehicle.
