125th Anniversary

Watches synchronized, 12 members of the Foundations of the Reformation snuck around campus in black clothes, faces covered by masks early last Friday morning.

Sneaking across the Beltline just after 4:30 a.m., they carried with them their weapons of political activism: locks. They crouched in corners, carefully concealed from the view of Campus Safety vehicles driving around the campus. At 4:45, they sprang into action. They worked in five groups of two, with two people waiting in getaway cars. Each person was responsible for locking three to six doors, depending on the lighting in those areas and the distance between doors. In total, they affixed 18 locks, shutting nine double-doors in the Science Building, North Hall, Spoelhof Center and Hiemenga Hall. The locks cost $300.

However, here the similarities end. While “Comedy” was a whirlwind of spectacle and clever insanity, the beauty of “Twelfth Night” lies not in the center but in the details. In order not to miss anything, here is a to-do list for the casual viewer of “Twelfth Night.”
