It has existed for decades, and its effects are so far-reaching that its status is almost legendary. The Calvin-Hope rivalry has extended for over 80 years and 144 games, with Calvin currently leading the series, winning 73 games over Hope’s 71 victories. Calvin holds a total five-point lead, an average of an amazing .34 points per game. The majority of the Calvin student body will flock to the Fieldhouse tomorrow afternoon to watch the first Calvin-Hope match-up of the 2000-01 season.
