The saga surrounding reaccreditation of the Oregon Extension
program came to a climactic close this Monday after two
hours of intense conversation, some of which took place
behind closed doors.
In the end, a large majority of the 42-person Faculty
Senate voted to maintain the “endorsed program”
status of the controversial program. The debate took place
as the Educational Policy Committee and the Off-Campus
Programs Committee presented their recommendation to the
same effect after studying the program for its regular
five-year reevaluation...

teams captured first place titles at the Great Lakes Regional
meet on Saturday, Nov. 11.
Entering the race as the number-one ranked team in the
country, the men garnered a total of 22 points...
